Child Safety Awareness and Healing with guest Leslie Bangamba

This week on Unpacked we are chatting with Leslie Bangamba, a devoted mom and passionate Child Safety Advocate. Leslie aims to inspire by showcasing her family's resiliency of turning their trauma into purpose. She is an official partner with Duracell and has championed battery safety on various global platforms. Leslie's life took a dramatic turn in April 2020 when her 18-month-old daughter, Amélie, ingested a lithium coin battery, leading to a harrowing journey of survival. Thankfully, Amélie emerged as a survivor, but the indelible trauma etched on Leslie's heart and mind prompted her to share Amélie's story with the world. We chat with Leslie about the depths of resilience, motherhood, and advocacy. Discover how Leslie's experience has propelled her into the public eye, turning her pain into a powerful force for change.
